LlamaPort

Terms of use

Version 2.0, in force from 23 October 2026. Replaces version 1.1 of 3 February 2026.

1. Who we are

LlamaPort is run by Global Drink Sales Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14482844), registered office 10 Egdon Close, Swindon, SN25 1US, United Kingdom ("LlamaPort", "we", "us"). These terms apply to everyone who uses llamaport.com, whether or not you have an account. By using the site you agree to them. If you create an account, you confirm you accept them when you sign up. If you use LlamaPort for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. What LlamaPort is (and isn't)

LlamaPort is a directory of drinks brands and products for the trade. Buyers, such as importers, distributors and retailers, browse for free. Anyone else can browse too. Trade Services lists companies that supply the drinks trade.

  • No drinks are for sale on LlamaPort. We don't show drink prices, take orders or handle stock.
  • We are not a party to any deal between users, and we don't act as anyone's agent, broker or distributor.
  • We don't guarantee any sale, listing, reply or result.
  • Price tier labels (such as Premium) describe how a brand positions a product. They are not prices.

3. Age and local rules

LlamaPort features alcohol. You must be 18 or over, or the legal drinking age where you live if that is higher, to create an account. We ask you to confirm this when you sign up.

Some countries restrict or ban alcohol advertising. You are responsible for following the rules where you are.

4. Accounts

  • Browsing needs no account. Liking, saving, using Surprise me, messages and requests do.
  • Give accurate details. One person per login: don't share it. You're responsible for everything done under your account, including your messages.
  • You can close your account at any time from Settings or by emailing us. Closing ends any paid plan straight away, with no refund for the time left.
  • We may suspend, hide or close any account (brand, buyer, drinks lover or supplier) at any time and without notice if it is reported, looks fake, gives false details, or breaks these terms.

5. Brand listings

We list drinks brands, including brands that haven't signed up, using public information and the brands' own official pack shots and logos. Where a brand's own pack shot isn't available, we may use a clean product photo from a retailer or another public source until the brand sends its own. We list brands of every size: we don't judge.

  • We usually load a brand's hero product. A free listing can show up to two drinks: a brand that claims its listing can add its second drink, or choose which two show, free.
  • If you own or represent a brand, you can claim your listing for free, or ask us to change or remove it. We act on removal requests quickly.
  • When a brand claims its listing, it confirms that we may use everything on it (including words, logos and pictures we loaded) and that it has the right to let us. From then on it is responsible for the accuracy, legality and compliance of its listing, including product claims, labels, awards, certifications and licences.
  • We may edit, reformat or remove content to keep the site accurate, consistent and easy to use. Editing content is not an endorsement or a check of it.
  • Brands that claim their listing can edit their words, links, drinks, pictures and logos in the Brand Hub, and changes go live straight away. We check pictures against our picture rules, may ask for a better one, and may hide or remove anything that doesn't meet them. A brand that isn't listed yet can make its own page and publish it; it shows without the Verified tick until we have checked it, its name and website are fixed once published, and buyers' requests come to us until then.
  • By uploading content, or by claiming a listing, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to show, resize, crop and reformat that content on LlamaPort, and to use it to promote LlamaPort (including on social media, in emails and in newsletters). Our service providers may handle it for us. The licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies already shared in posts and copies kept for a short time in backups.
  • Featured on our socials: we may feature listed brands and their drinks in LlamaPort's posts on social media (for example LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and Pinterest), using the brand's name, logo, pack shots and description, tagging the brand where we can and linking to its listing. When you claim your listing or sign up as a brand, you agree to this. If you'd rather not be featured, email us: we won't feature you again and we'll take down existing posts on request.
  • We decide what we list. We may refuse, hide, take down or remove any listing, drink or account at any time, including where a brand, its marketing or the people behind it could harm LlamaPort, its users or its reputation. Anyone can report a page with "Report this page".
  • A Verified tick means the brand has claimed its listing and we have checked that the person who claimed it works for the brand, or the brand has taken a paid plan (we check those brands afterwards). It is not a check of the brand's products, licences or claims.
  • Where several brands share one website (for example, one company with several brands), one claim can cover them. We check each brand before linking it to the account, and each brand keeps its own plan.

6. Requests and messages

Sample, price, introduction and where-to-buy requests, and messages, go through LlamaPort. This helps us prevent spam and fraud and protect both sides.

Samples cost brands money, so we check buyers first. A buyer with a business email address is checked automatically. Sample requests from personal email addresses (such as Gmail) wait until we have confirmed the business, and we may decline them. A buyer can make up to 10 sample requests a month.

  • Messages and requests sent through LlamaPort are not private. We may read, store, forward, reply to, delay or decline them, and we look at any conversation that is reported.
  • Buyers and brands talk in messages on LlamaPort. A brand sees a buyer as a number, with their buyer type and country, until the buyer chooses "Show who I am" in their conversation with that brand. Brands can't message a buyer first, and reply once to each buyer message. Until a buyer shows who they are, we hold back email addresses and phone numbers in messages. Drinks lovers can message brands too; brands see their number and country until they choose "Show who I am", and links a brand sends to a drinks lover are checked by us first. Answering is free for brands on every plan.
  • Notices in the Classifieds (Wanted, Births and Marriages) are checked by us before they appear and stay up for up to 90 days. We may turn down or remove any notice. A buyer's Marriages notice naming a brand appears only if that brand agrees. A notice must be true and must not include links or contact details; you are responsible for what yours says.
  • Buyers can save private business details (such as a samples address or licence numbers) and choose to send their samples address to a brand. This is optional. Our advice: give these details to the brand directly rather than storing them on LlamaPort.
  • If a brand hasn't claimed its listing, we'll invite it to respond, but it may not. If a brand doesn't answer within 7 days, we'll tell you.
  • Any deal you make is between you and the other party. Do your own checks before trading, including identity, licences and import or export rules.

7. Brand plans and payments

  • Buyers and drinks lovers use LlamaPort free.
  • Brands can stay on the free listing (Standard) or choose a paid plan (Premium, Super Premium or Luxury). What each plan includes and its price are shown on our Pricing page. You pay the price shown when you sign up; we'll give at least 30 days' notice of any change.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, as you choose, in US dollars, through our payment provider, Stripe, and renew each month or year until cancelled. Prices exclude VAT. Brands based in the UK pay UK VAT at the standard rate on top; brands outside the UK pay no UK VAT (business customers account for any VAT under the reverse charge). Invoices come from Global Drink Sales Limited by email.
  • Upgrades, and moves from monthly to yearly, start straight away: you pay the difference for the rest of the current month or year, then the new price. Downgrades, and moves from yearly to monthly, start at the end of the month or year you've paid for. Nothing you've added is deleted: drinks over your new plan's limit are hidden, and you choose which ones show.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the month or year you've paid for, then move to the free listing. There are no refunds for the time left, monthly or yearly. Your listing stays unless you ask us to remove it.
  • No refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including when a plan ends early because you close or delete your account, or because we suspend or remove an account or listing that is fake, gives false details or breaks these terms. This doesn't affect any refund the law says we must give.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe will try again and email you. If it still can't be taken, the paid plan ends and the brand moves to the free listing. Nothing is deleted.
  • Promoted listings, featured brand panels and other paid placements are labelled "Promoted".
  • Where-to-buy links, medals and "why it's special" lines are added by brands on paid plans. The brand is responsible for them; we don't take commission on sales and may remove anything misleading.

8. Trade Services

Trade Services lists companies that supply the drinks trade, such as glassware, packaging, labels, co-packing, logistics, warehousing and agencies.

  • We may list suppliers that haven't signed up, using public information such as their name, logo, service, country and website. If you run one, you can ask us to change or remove the listing, and we act on removal requests quickly.
  • A supplier claims its listing by taking a paid advert. Prices are shown on our Pricing page. Adverts are billed monthly in advance with no minimum term, and are checked by us before they show. A supplier can move up to Promoted at any time (it starts straight away) and back down or cancel at the end of a paid month.
  • Adverts must be about services to the drinks trade and show no prices. Paid top placement is labelled "Promoted". Suppliers can't see the Buyer directory.
  • Brands ask suppliers questions on LlamaPort. A supplier reads and answers them once its advert is on, replies once to each brand message, and can't message a brand first. If a supplier doesn't answer within 30 days, we tell the brand.
  • The supplier is responsible for its advert. Sections 5, 7 and 9 to 18 apply to suppliers and adverts as they do to brands and plans, including no refunds.

9. Fair use (our code of conduct)

You must:

  • Be honest about who you are and who you represent.
  • Use LlamaPort professionally and treat other users with respect.
  • Follow the laws that apply to you, including alcohol, advertising and import or export rules.

You must not: pretend to be someone else or set up a fake account; upload anything false, misleading, illegal or harmful; spam brands, buyers or suppliers; copy, scrape or resell our data, or use it to build lists or services for others; share your login; try to get round access limits or break the site. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with no refund.

10. Intellectual property

Brand names, logos, pack shots and the words brands write belong to the brands. Section 5 explains how we may use them. Everything else on LlamaPort belongs to us or the people who license it to us, and is protected by copyright, database right, trade mark and other laws.

  • What's ours: the LlamaPort name and logo, and any name or mark we use for our services; the site's design, look, layout, code and software; the directory as a whole, including how it is chosen, organised and arranged (our categories, filters, rankings, maps, stats and Market pulse); the words, descriptions, stories, guides, newsletters and posts we write; and the pictures we prepare (cleaned, cropped or made into slides).
  • You may use LlamaPort to browse, and to do business with the brands, buyers and suppliers you find on it. That's the only permission you get. It is personal to you or your business, and we can withdraw it if you break these terms.
  • You must not, without our written permission: copy, download or extract all or a large part of the directory, or smaller parts again and again; use robots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated tools to collect data from LlamaPort (search engines indexing public pages are fine); use anything on LlamaPort to train, test or feed an artificial intelligence or machine learning model; build or help build a directory, database, list or service that competes with LlamaPort; frame or mirror the site; or copy, reverse engineer or take apart our software.
  • You must not use our name or logo, or anything confusingly similar, in your own names, domains, accounts, ads or marketing, or suggest we endorse you, without our written permission. Linking to LlamaPort and saying you're listed on it is fine.
  • If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.
  • We may take any step the law allows to protect our rights, including blocking access, closing accounts and going to court.

If you believe something on LlamaPort infringes your rights, email byron@llamaport.com and we'll look at it quickly and take it down where appropriate.

11. No promises about the site

LlamaPort is provided as it is and as available. Listings, messages and adverts come from brands, users, suppliers and public sources. We don't check, and can't promise, that they are accurate, complete, legal or up to date, or that any brand, buyer or supplier is who they say they are or holds the licences it needs. We can't promise the site will always be available or free of errors. Links to other websites are for convenience; we're not responsible for those sites.

12. Our liability

This section sets the most we can ever be liable for. Please read it.

  • We are not liable for: deals, disputes or anything else between users; content, claims or conduct of brands, buyers, suppliers or other users; the accuracy of any listing; other websites; loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data; anything indirect or that we couldn't reasonably have foreseen; downtime or errors on the site; or our decision to hide, suspend or remove any account, listing or content.
  • For anything else, our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that led to the claim, or £25 if you've paid nothing.
  • Any claim must be brought within 12 months of the event that led to it.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use LlamaPort as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

13. If someone makes a claim against us because of you

If a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your products, labels, claims or licences, your advertising, your dealings with another user, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover our losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees.

14. Disputes between users

If you have a dispute with another user, it is between you and them. You release us from any claims connected with it.

15. Things outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our hosting, payment or email providers, internet failures, cyber attacks, strikes, or acts of government.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll show the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email; brands and suppliers on paid plans get at least 30 days' notice. If you keep using LlamaPort after a change, the new terms apply.

17. General

  • These terms, and the pages they refer to (such as Pricing and our privacy and cookie policies), are the whole agreement between us. You haven't relied on anything else we've said.
  • If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • We may transfer our rights and duties under these terms to another company, for example if LlamaPort is sold. You may not transfer yours without our written agreement.
  • Nobody else can enforce these terms.

18. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
