Chamarel is a rum and liqueur brand from Chamarel, Mauritius, founded in 2008.
La Rhumerie de Chamarel sits in a fertile valley about 300 metres up in the south-west of Mauritius, near the island's famous coloured earths. The estate grows its own cane, cuts it by hand without burning, and turns the fresh juice into white, spiced and aged rums plus a range of rum liqueurs. The distillery also runs tours and a restaurant.
