Corona is a pale lager and beer brand from Mexico City, Mexico, founded in 1925.
Corona was first brewed in 1925 at Cervecería Modelo in Mexico City and has since become one of the most widely drunk beers on the planet. It is a light, easy pale lager made with barley malt, maize and hops, and the lime in the neck is a serving ritual whose origin nobody quite agrees on. The brand is now part of AB InBev outside the US.
