Emperor is a rum brand from Black River, Mauritius.
Emperor blends aged Mauritian rums, made from both cane juice and molasses, and matures them in French oak for several years. The team then plays with finishes in casks from well-known French wine estates and sherry. The name nods to King George V, who is said to have fallen for the island on a stop in 1901.
