Estrella Damm is a pale lager and beer brand from Barcelona, Spain, founded in 1876.
August Kuentzmann Damm, a brewer from Alsace, opened his brewery in Barcelona in 1876 and set out to make a lighter lager suited to the Mediterranean climate. Estrella Damm is still brewed to that original recipe with barley malt, rice and hops, using the brewery's own malthouse and a yeast strain kept going for generations.
