Hatta Houmeishuho is a small maker in Tomo-no-ura, Fukuyama, dating from 1908. It makes Akataru Houmeishu, a traditional Japanese herbal liqueur steeped with 16 botanicals such as ginseng, cinnamon, saffron and citrus peel on a mirin base, and aged for months.
