The story

Lovely Mun is a liqueur brand from Swansea, Wales, founded in 2026.

I’m Dai Wakely, a Welsh master distiller and the founder of Lovely Mun. After years of developing award-winning spirits for other people, I wanted to put that experience into something of my own. A cream liqueur I could feel proud to put my name behind. I developed Lovely Mun around the dessert flavours I love, bringing them together in one smooth, indulgent drink, blended and bottled at Hensol Castle Distillery in South Wales, where I spent 5 years as Master Distiller. It’s a personal project and a big step for me: taking everything I’ve learned and creating something to be shared, enjoyed and brought out when the people who matter get together.
