Metaxa is a brandy brand from Kifisia, Greece, founded in 1888.
Metaxa was created by Spyros Metaxa in 1888 and is still made in Greece. It marries aged wine distillates with sweet Muscat wine from the Aegean and botanicals, then rests in oak, giving a softer, rounder spirit than most brandies.
