Quilmes is a pale lager brand from Quilmes, Argentina, founded in 1890.
Quilmes was founded in 1890 by German immigrant Otto Bemberg in the town of Quilmes, just south of Buenos Aires. Its sky-blue and white label echoes the Argentine flag, and the beer is closely tied to the country's football. The brewery is now part of AB InBev.
