The story
Red Car is a wine brand from Sebastopol, the United States, founded in 2000.
Born in a Culver City garage in 2000 with just two barrels of Syrah, Red Car was named after LA’s iconic trolley line as a nod to our hometown’s history. Today, we are pioneers of the rugged West Sonoma Coast AVA, farming unique, ridge-top vineyards shaped by dense fog and the Pacific Ocean. This cool climate allows our grapes to mature slowly in well-drained soils, yielding complex flavors, perfumed aromatics, bright fruit, and a crisp texture. Every bottle displays the invigorating acidity, minerality, and authentic coastal terroir of our region. Life is a journey, get on the Red Car.
