Kelterei Stier has pressed Apfelwein in Maintal-Bischofsheim, east of Frankfurt, since 1960, starting as a small inn cidery. The family now makes more than 30 apple drinks, from classic Hessian Apfelwein to cidre, apple seccos and sparkling wines.
