Takamaka is a wine brand from Vacoas, Mauritius.
Takamaka Boutique Winery sits in the hills near Mare aux Vacoas and was set up by winemaker Alexander Oxenham to make wine from Mauritian lychees. The fruit is hand-peeled and fermented at low temperature, giving styles from bone dry and oak-aged to rich and sweet. There is a bistro on site for tastings.
