The Falkland Collection is a whisky brand from Falkland, Scotland.
The story begins in 1494 in the Kingdom of Fife, when King James IV, at Falkland Palace, called on Friar John Cor for the 'water of life' to be made. The Falkland Collection sits about 200 yards from the palace and takes its name from the royal burgh. The idea is simple: celebrate Scotland's whisky heritage with a collection of youthful single malts that everyone can enjoy. The first release is a Speyside single malt at 45%, matured in refill Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, non-chill filtered with no added colour: orchard fruit, honeyed malt and vanilla, then dried fruit, warm spice and gentle oak.
